The Family Wall

Welcome to the Wall Family web site and blog. I hope to provide many features for the family members to enjoy and to share their lives as well as to provide insight into the things I am interested in. All those who know me know that I am a poor man’s Renaissance man. They also know that there just aren’t enough hours in a day for me to do all things I ‘d like to.
As I develop this site, I am open to suggestions as to how to grow it. I hope that it will be something living for all to enjoy.
I also plan to publish some how-to pages to show people how I’ve done things, many things, from cooking to gardening to remodeling. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks for finding me.

This is the first post of my new web site. The purpose of the site is to provide an outlet for the various interests related to the lives and activities of the Wall Family, present and future. There are many interest and you will find pages for such varied interests as photography, gardening, handyman projects, quilting, golf, cooking and there may even be a page to keep you up to date with the various remodeling project of our home here in Austin, Tx.

We will talk about our new grandbaby and post his pictures here. I was thinking that we might have a contest for the most beautiful baby but I can see now that I’m very biased and might create a lot of new enemies before I even get the first page up, so I’ve scrapped that idea.

I’m told I’m a pretty good cook, so I plan to have a cooking page that will talk about some of my favorite recipes, cookbooks, holiday foods, cookware etc. ect. When we go camping, we like to camp “gourmet” as my wife and friends call it, so there will be some info about what and how we cook when we go camping as well as some photos.

I think that’s about it for my first post and as I figure this thing out or at leas as my son-in-law helps me figure it out, there’ll be more.
